The concept of gender is an act, or performance – constructed to uphold social expectations, and not a true expression of a person. Our behaviour and gestures are therefore absurdly limited by gender. In this project, the fluid body examines the possibility of personality, action, and gestures that can be reformed and melt again in dissimilar ways from structured socio-cultural gender ideas. In this respect, how can we reclaim our behaviour and action to become our authentic self? Do personality and the way we behave actually come from the ‘true’ us? What possibility of being another lies within us?
