As water levels rise, economies collapse, and conflicts spread through continents like wildfire, we are once again reminded that water surrounds us, a fluid body that is constantly shifting has transitioned into a hard border. Beyond our contemporary understanding of disasters, what happens when we focus just on the people, and pay tribute to those who have lost a battle with violent waters? Now the shirt is torn... is dedicated to all those lost at sea, whether exiles, refugees or simply unfortunates.
