They open the glass door and feed me.

I spin, mixing them with my soap-water fluid, I feel the fabrics touching my sensors.

The washing machine is a smart technology that does the work of washing our clothes. Our clothes are the fuel and organs that keep the machine alive.

In a circular motion, it transforms the dirty, sweaty, stained clothes into clean protective skins that contain our inherently vulnerable organism.

Our intestines clean us from within, allowing the body to absorb what it needs and discard what it does not. This mundane household machine is so complex, like our digestive system, that it becomes an extension of our body.
