SOMEONE LIVING IN 2050 is based on the idolisation of young male celebrities in Chinese society today, whose beauty standards influence many young people. In the future, AI will create more virtual idols that generate value online. Currently, they are based on existing standards of beauty. What happens when these generated images become the future standard? How will AI images based on AI images evolve? What will our beauty standards look like in this future, when the idols are fully replaced?
