I am fascinated by the small patches of grass that exist in the city. They are well maintained, yet without a clear function they are isolated — reflecting a loneliness shared by humans. By lying down on them, I activate the space with my body. In a sense, I surrender, becoming part of the grass and blending into the cityscape. Non-action becomes action. Through engaging with these domesticated and often ignored parts of the city, I find humour in the absurdity of life.
