In mythology, the ocean often possesses a human consciousness and reacts to the behaviour of people by giving or talking. As a result, humans have been searching for ways to have a dialogue with the personified ocean. In this process, the ocean ceases to be a thing and becomes a being. Every wave is a breath, and every breath is a wave. Slightly Intelligent is a sculpture that explores what the minimum criteria for perceiving something as living could be.
