The veil of my senses retraces an experience of a psychiatric hospital. The project focuses on the moment of leaving the institution and the subsequent feeling of being cut off from society. The installation explores the notion of being inside looking out and the rehabilitation of the body and the way of life outside. The curtains refer to the boundary between these two spaces and they attempt to activate memories of crossing it.

Special thanks to Sonja Kip for assisting with the conception of the curtains.
