This machine pisses me off is a speculative design concept that raises awareness of the inaccessibility of public toilets. It introduces a device that allows anyone, regardless of disability, gender or age, to urinate and recycle their urine into fertiliser. The prototype has a collection system that transports the liquids to different filter systems. These separate the nitrogen from the urine to create a fertiliser, while the water is recycled into another tank. The project proposes to subvert the current exclusionary state of public space, turning it into a potential site for inclusive collaboration.
