The proliferation of security cameras in public spaces, from private doorbell cameras to government surveillance systems, is blurring the boundaries between what is traditionally defined as public and private. In some ways, there are no longer any public or private spaces. This trend has sparked concerns and discussions about privacy, data security and discrimination. The project invites viewers to explore their relationship with surveillance, personal autonomy and involuntary data sharing through interventions in public spaces that incorporate and reuse existing cameras.
